vw glass buggy,tourer rego, called a glita bug, looks very similar to a manx. made here insa in the 70s. new 2 pak paint in blood orange, chrome 17x7.5 wheels with good tyres, new shortened floorpan in gloss black,floorpan strengtherns with roll bar, irs with balljoint frontend and disc brakes and adjusters, all new or recon brakes and suspension components, engine is 1835cc based on a almost new crank case, c35 cam ,ported and polished heads, heavy springs, twin 34 ict webers, chrome exhaust, saas seats, manx screen, everything fresh goes and drives very well less than 200kmson it must sell to make way for new projects, could arange delivery to the nats in sydney at easter

WOW its costing me $13500.00 for me to have a manx put back together at a buggy specialist in brisbane:grind::fakesniff::grind:
thats after it cost me $4000 to have it stripped and the body chassis and rollcage repainted:cry

Looks like a great manx Adam - best of luck with the sale!

newoldmanx, I guess you have found out the hard way like myself that it costs a lot more to build than what you can buy a completed car for. The sum of the parts doesn't necessarily equal what the finished product is worth! Like my old ragtop - $40K plus spent (not inc heaps of labour....now for sale for $20K).

sorry to hijack Adam.....it certainly is a bargain - really tidy little buggy!

exactly i sold a glitta (cover of manx mania no 5) a couple of months ago without even trying driving through the sunny coast and a young bloke pulled up beside me made me an offer i couldnt refuse (it was more than this) and now i kinda regret selling:cry they really are a fantastic little buggy
if i didnt have 5 buggies now id buy this in a snap
dont let this one go guys its a bargain
