1958 VW Beetle
I am putting my little baby up for sale. She was my first ever car, bought in 1993 from a family friend who owned it since new. If you looks closely
you can still see the Lanock Motors sticker on the back (and for those who lived in Albury in the 70's/80's the road block pass sticker can just be
seen too!)
Has fuel gauge, however the front plastic part with the graduations is in many pieces in the glove box.
Motor is 40 hp, and needs some love. It has about 5000 miles since installation in '92, however the rings are pretty average (not much smoke but
heaps of blow-by)
Patches of surface rust on roof, guards, body (see Piks). Headlining was methodically removed by the PO's daughter.
Parts missing: LH elephant ear cover and spring for mounting the lower brake shoe (it is somewhere in my shed and if I ever find it I can finish
putting the brake back together!)
Asking $1 500, which I know seems silly - but you are welcome to make a silly offer back

Cannibals!! I've got bumpers and over riders you can have, and I'm sure there are a few dozen others with the same, rather than rape and pillage that poor old dear.
bushed, i assume that is $1000 after you take out the dehne fuel gauge and some of the panels etc. if i didn't have my eyes on something else i'd be happy with that car, sure cheaper is better but still.
I'm not going to break it apart, the poor old girl deserves better than that.
