I am selling my Bug, Ok reason for selling is that SUPPOSEDLY the shits next door stole my full tank of petrol. After having to tow the thing home. I did not have time to find out why no fuel was getting from the tank to the pump. Fuel lines were fixed but it's possible that the filter or something is blocking the outlet. Anyway I have to get to work so I ended up buying a square......and the Bug has just sat there since.

I have done very little work on the car except having it serviced and tuned, fixing the electrical and general fixing bits and bobs. . The compression is around 95psi on all cylinders which is low but she still went very well uphill. Could easily end up over 60mph going up Taps. I have found only surface rust in the floor (Looks like the drivers side was replaced) Shell is good and only one rust spot on the rear pillar. Guards are repairable but all dented by po. The biggest problem I can see is there is a crack in the right hand front strut housing. This did not affect steering or prove to be very thin as it was pretty solid when I hit the thing with a hammer. When I was looking at getting her fixed up I went to two crash repairers and both said there was nothing that hard to be done to get everything looking good (Including fixing the tower) I just never got back to them for prices as the above non running situation happened a day or two later and sort of broke my motivational spirit. Bonnet hinge has come off on one side. It's not in top condition and would need a total going over before attempting to drive. I can however supply rego at new owners expense. Picture will pretty much say everything. All lights and electrical work as does the heater. Motor turns freely. Not sure if you will be able to see but there is minimal oil under the car. Like most people I would fix it up if I had the time and money to do so, but problems with the square took care of the latter. It comes with a few spare bits as well But nothing to write home about. My wife wants it gone. It's attracting red backs and my two year old son. God knows how he got on the bloody roof.
Scratch that....Just looked at the pics and realised how he did it

So enjoy the pics and any other info you want can be had by calling 0417 816 511 After 0830 and before 2030 as you may wake the kids and that would be BAD, really really bad. I have not been receiving mail to tell me of replies to posts or U2U's. but I will try to check on a regular basis. I can also supply vin, and engine number if you need it for checks or whatever

PICS REMOVED AS CAR IS NOW SOLD
