A black dune buggy from Mandurah in WA is being sold on eBay as a Meyers Manx.
I used to own that buggy.
PLEASE NOTE.
It is not a Meyers Manx. I believe that it is a Fibretech Glitterbug.
In 1997, Bruce Meyers rode with me in that buggy, coming back from the VW Shootout in Sydney. He called it a "Brand X", which is what he calls all
copies of his beloved Manx. Don't just take my word for it, from the guru himself. It's a "BRAND X".
Unfortunately, Meyers Manx is the generic term for dune buggy, world wide. This is yet another example of that.
It really iritates me when people do this. If it was being called a Manx Type, I wouldn't care as that is what it is.
That one has been for sale a couple of times...the "owner" get's irate if you tell him it's not an original Manx....
