WTD Early bay deluxe

Hey guys

I'm after an early bay (68-71) deluxe. It's gotta be an early with the early style rear lights and crescent vents etc)
I'm not after a project or a rust bucket, I'm prepared to pay for a good, solid, straight one. It has to be in good working order (ie roadworthy).
I'd prefer a nice, tidy, unrestored bus but I'll look at anything, restored or not. I don't need another project or rat, got plenty of them!

Try SPLITSAVIOUR on the dsk. He has decent rust free lowlights at Burnie.
Might be running but just give him a ring and see what hes got. his number is 64352815.

Have you still got that split front that you had at the Launceston Swap meet? Might be interested if it's still for sale!

Not mine but saw this on autotrader.com.au -

Volkswagen Microbus early baywindow not splitscreen 1970 RWD honey brown with cream roof, 1600cc 4sp manual, Very original microbus in original trim with all mouldings intact. Early baywindow with the splitscreen taillights and bumpers. Original paint, very little rust. 1600 single port upright motor just had exchange barrels and pistons with new rings and rebuilt heads -still under warranty. Recent clutch. Excellent gearbox -shifts like a beetle. Original registration but needs brake work and other minor repairs for RWC. Much more practical than a splitscreen -well worth restoring.
