1963 and i just took her on the beach with my dads baja to take some pics of it for VWMA.
Oh well good luck with her. Check The Examiner motor guide every Saturday, The Mercury, and the Trading Post as they always "Pop Up".

Im up north in Launceston and a little place called Bellingham which is near bridport.
Kombimatt, you will have to patient...I was looking for a decent restorer for over a year, and i gave up trying to find one in tassie and imported one from NSW...it is now a runner and rego'd. And i am also a tassie boy, i hark from Kingston.

Will have to hold off for a while - one of my kombi's (have 3) dropped a gearbox on Monday so am now have an engine rebuild as well as a box
overhaul. Money for a beetle just went phfffft!
Will keep my eye out though.
