Am trying to cull a few projects and concentrate on only a handful of things and my Golf doesnt get used as much as it could.

It is a 90 model, 5spd 1.8 fuel injected. Remote entry/alarm. Power roof and windows, CD stereo with remote.

Bodywork is fantastic with only a minor blemish on a front bumper - caused by me recently.

It does not have airconditioning - I didnt really care for it as I usually have the roof down.

Very economical car and sporty car- the roof is a bit ratty and could do with some patches, but still very usuable.

FWIW I think new roofs aren't too expensive from out of the US

For $6K I would be tempted but I already have a roofless car

Just checked out the price of a new top in the states- only $193 US but then you have to add postage and the fitment costs of the glass window- but certainly pretty good.

I was planning on fixing some things on the Golf, such as new rear shoes, hood catch etc but am struggling for time- so am fairly negotiable on the price.
