Hi folks im selling my beetle due to needing more funds for other projects, i was at one stage going to get it roadworthy and on the road but have now changed my mind so its up for sale, just a run down on what it is and what its got etc, 1974 beetle (1300 model), ragtop which does not leak at all!!, strong 1600cc with twin Kadrons,the motor does not leak any oil !! and goes very strong, 009 dizzy etc,have just done a service on the engine,(new plugs, new oil, strainer kit, done the timing, valves and put in new fuel filter and new fuel lines, just needs a good tune up, extractors into hot dog muffler sounds tuff, the gear box is also perfect no noises at all, gear box has new oil and new cv boots, new clutch return spring. chrome wheels, adjustable front beam,KYB rear shox, very straight body, no major rust only a few tiny bits these are only two minor pin holes located in the front foot well, which are easliy mig'd up, would be a very easy project for someone with the time and moola to finish off and get RWD. if your interested plz U2U me for further details etc, this is located in Croydon (Victoria) if you wish to view the car plz u2u me

Its also best to have the filter before the pump as well :thumb

What we're saying is its best not to have one between the pump and the carbies at all.. fuel pumps don't like pushing fuel through a filter, much better to pull it through.. Just a tip cause i would hate to see this burn before it gets sold!!
