A beautiful bus Brad and all the best with the sale..

65busser - June 11th, 2007 at 08:44 PM

Thanks gents. It's a credit to its original owner.
Robo, owned it for just over a couple of years now. I need s'thing I can load up with stuff or go to the dump if necessary. Just can't do that with this, so it's not getting out and about as it would love to. Best it goes to a home that will treat it right, and I get a ute or dcab or s'thing.
Happy to talk part exchange too.

LUFTMEISTER - June 12th, 2007 at 05:38 AM

thats a "back to the future" unit there. all the best with the sale.

65busser - June 14th, 2007 at 07:29 AM

She's a good Aussie girl. There'll be a good Aussie home I'm sure.

crewcabconnection - June 14th, 2007 at 08:01 PM

I got a nice panel I can swap ... needs the seats finishing, 12months rego, DVD MP4 player, 10.4 adn 7.5 incl LCDs, 3000W of noise, a real IRS, just serviced, 45000W Espresso Machine (good for late night eye opening and customer shmoozing, 5.5Kva Inverter power generator (handy for sewing), BRMS, new KUMHOs, did a whopping 3000ks last year since full resto. More usefull than a camper, c'mon Brad, don't think about it, swap it.

Alternate plan - who want's a fully running espresso business in resto'd panel? Price 43k too.

Hey you gotta try doncha?

:blush ...

Tonz Magonz - June 15th, 2007 at 09:54 PM

Deano,The idea has merit.Brad gets a new work truck and an espresso machine for the customers.

65busser - June 15th, 2007 at 10:17 PM

Deano. I'd consider it if the seats were done.

crewcabconnection - June 15th, 2007 at 11:02 PM

that might not happen for a while then, the seats are the best part and too good to fit! - How about a 30,000 mile, 91 Lotus Esprit Turbo with all the options and full Lotus history then? Thats got nice seats. Imported to your door.

65busser - June 16th, 2007 at 08:25 AM

Thanks for the fabulous offers Deano.
I made the conscious decision to advertise in Oz only, but looks like I've got to look outside. Just want to clear the air in an attempt to avoid the backlash. I don't like the idea either, but what do you do?
Thanks to all for the supportive feedback.
Brad

Brad,
have you advertised in printed media or only on line? i find there are a lot of tyre kickers on line, you may get interest from trading post or just cars.
just a thought
cheers
dave

frenzix - June 16th, 2007 at 08:56 AM

you don't need to justify yourself to anyone brad .. neither does anyone else when selling stuff.

vassy66T1 - August 14th, 2007 at 10:14 AM

Hey Brad
I have a 2005 Ford Courier dual cab XLT 4.0Litre V6 auto with safety pack, and other bits (not sure whether you were only talking about VW dual cab etc) and wonder if you have any interest?
A question from a man who has never had a Kombi camper (only beetles and a 69 microbus): can anyone legally sit in the back while travelling?
Interested in your response to the above.
regards
vassy

XXX-1.8T - August 16th, 2007 at 04:57 PM

would you swap for an Audi?

jenz58 - August 19th, 2007 at 10:39 AM

Brad have you sold the kombi yet...it is such a nice original ride and very unique for anyone serious about their VeeDubbs

Rawdyn - August 21st, 2007 at 05:01 PM

I have just spent the entire day getting up close and personal with the shots we took of this bus for the Splitty Calendar and it is bloody gorgeous. If I didn't have a deposit on a bus already I'd take it home myself!

65busser - August 29th, 2007 at 08:42 PM
