I'm lacking time/motivation to do anything else with this one so before I sell it for too much on Ebay I thought I would give you all first dibs. The
Bus cost me $1500 + another $300 for the gates, would like to at least get this back for it.
This is not a project for the faint of heart, there is a LOT of rust, needs floor, Passenger side Sills etc etc etc. Surprisingly the front cab area
is pretty good, gutters etc all good. I have taken the tray off (A LOT OF WORK) and removed the bulkhead from the tray. There is a lot of welding and
fabrication that needs to be done to get a new tray back on there. I was thinking of replacing the rusted tray rails with RHS or similar and creating
a new Steel checker plate tray with engine hatch, there was a nice SC in AVW this issue that has the look. Gates are in good nick but require
resto.
Mechanically the bus goes and stops. I think it has a 2l motor and box but need to confirm this.... Has a Fat Steering wheel !!! Also has ALL seats
etc.
Would make a great project for someone especially if your handy with a welder.
You will need a car trailer to take it home but you can drive it onto and off of it !!!
