1972 Type 3 Squareback
Original 'Mustard' colour paint.
Started to restore it - have done the seats, they look great, and the engine. Has new twin solex carbies. Starts well, sounds like a VW Brakes have been bled recently and work A1. Just put in a new reco battery.
Example of some things needed for roadworthy:
-dash has splits
-roof lining has splits
-needs new seals around doors etc
-some surface rust around rear roof gutter and behind rear wheels.
I would love to keep this as an ongoing project but have no where to store it. At the moment it's being garaged at the inlaws place in Hoppers Crossing. Just needs some good old fashioned lovin'.
