[WTB - WA] Where have all the bugs in WA gone?
stubug - September 28th, 2007 at 01:37 PM

Hey everyone, fairly new to the site so I apologies for the profile. I am very excited to find that there are so many VW nutters out there, makes me feel allot more sane. I'm looking to get back into the VW game after too many years of driving a "A to B" car.
I prefer bugs but I also have a sweet spot for bays and splitties.
Does anyone know of anything decent between $8000 - $12000?
My only requirement at the moment is that it has to be FUN!
interstate transport inevitable

You can get a decent one L-Bug with an 1835cc donk and Kaddies for about $3500...

Well...

I'm off to the frozen wastelands of Denmark soon, alas without VW in tow....three problems with taking it with me..

1. Weather...dunno if a convertible Dub would be best suited to minus 25 temps :(
2. They drive on the wrong side of the road
3. They impose a very hefty tax bill on you after 6 months for the import....you don't want to know the bill it would attract suffice to say its more than the GDP of a small African nation.

So...

Mines up for grabs.......I'm a tad flexible with the offer as well if it goes interstate.
Few more details here from when I was potentially going overseas and it fell through last time.

Feel free to drop a U2U or can send phone number if required.

Cheers
