[FS - WA] Original 1966 Beetle 1300 for sale
shaihulud - October 6th, 2007 at 12:04 AM

This is getting really frustrating. Here is yet another Beetle that I would like to buy, but I can't go near it until it's been advertised in the WA VW Club magazine ViaWest in about a month, by which time it might have been sold through here. Oh! Woe is me! Yeah! Right! As if I need another project in the last few weeks of getting the SR finished.

Its a white 1966 Beetle in completely original condition. It's a German imported CKD which was assembled in Victoria. It's a 1300 with that on the engine lid. It's still a 6 volt model. That's how original it is. It's always been garaged, it has had little use lately as it was part of an estate and it has 87,000 genuine miles on the odometer.

It's the nearest to an, "Only driven to church on Sundays, by a little old lady." car that I've heard of in a long time.

It's now superfluous to requirements and, regretfully, it must go to clear up space in the garage.

It's always been loved and serviced by its owner.

The paint work is O.K. for its age, the interior is a bit worn, but O.K. There is a rust and closing problem with the drivers door. The tyres are good. It has a brand new battery and was recently given a full service.

It is registered to May 2008, wiith registration number 1BGP 444.

$2,500 ono.
