Anyone have or know of a 914 that could be purchased. Need a car with a reasonable body. Mechanicals not important.

It was from up north - dont know where.
Andrew (owner) has done a fair amount of tidying up on it. New brakes / rotors suspension etc etc.
No he doesnt want $30k (well - i am SURE he WOULD take it you offered it)
914 with a 6 in it.
Well sort of.
It is an original 914/6..... not a 914 with a 6 in it.
If your bored read here for the differences

Must be a different car than the one I was looking at...................it was originally a 914, and they had put a 2.7lt 911 motor into it.

Hi
I love these cars, but I tried to sit in one once and gave up as I thought that I might have needed the jaws of life to get me out again. They would
be great if your around 5 foot 5. Unusual for VW/Porsche to build a car for the vertically challenged.

Um, I'm 5'11" ( and a little -wide-), and I have a mate who is 6'5", and we once spent three weeks driving from Los Angeles to Texas and back in
my 914. (and it was January, so the roof was on a lot of the time.
They have a TON of leg room - with the driver's seat right back, I can't get the pedals to the floor... and I put most car seats all the way
back.
EDIT- They ARE low, though, so you wouldn't want to have a bad back or bad knees!
