This bug was my wife daily driver many years ago ,I pulled it out of storage ,then used it for work as a daily car the last year with no problems .( yes ,for my detailing )
This bug is a perfect fix her up (restore or hot up ) starting project car .
I'm selling afew cars becouse we are moving mid year and I will only keep 2 vw hobby cars .

For Sale , 1966 beige bug
lowered and narrowed link pin beam (2inch) with adjusters
four studs brakes all around (disc on front )
145 Nantang (15),195 Pos-A-Traction (14) Tyres
German running boards
Stanless trim
Scat gear shifter
New tmi seat trim and foam ,New tmi door cards (early style)
Have New tmi carpet kit (black ) not fitted
2speed wiper motor ,late arms
Rear window blind
Motor 1500cc (have to check Eng No,Ithink all t3's came with 1500 motor? )Come's with a 1500cc for rebuild ,009 Dist ,Flat Four exhaust and fat muffler.
Lighten flywheel (rare 6v 200mm)
Motor was a type 3 flat that I fitted .Good for 42years old .( a little noisy on first cold start up )
Gear box good
Paint ,fair condition ,Black bonnet to look old scool style
Over the years have slowly fix her up ( pillers ,Quarter windows ,Engine mounts ,12v wiring ,front end,ext )
Has Rego now (April 08) Will post more as I think of it !! (steering wheel not in sale)

WOW!
Even has a Berg power pulley on that rocket 1300!

Nice solid base for someone.
Having the later brakes is a nice upgrade.....is that beam narrowed?

Well mactaylor !! You must not know how good SINGLE PORT motors are .Go for ever !!!!!!
Yep ,Dave , power pully I think is a scat ,yes it a good one .I'll let it go if someone pays the money !!
Anyone that knows me ,know this little car keeps up with trafic !!

Looks like a great car.

Those rear view mirrors look quite different. What are they off or where did you get them?

yep I built a 1600 sp when i was 16 and did over 70000 klms in it with only minor probs drove over burringbar range every day to work good little bits of shit they are!
