Craig
how was the rust in the one you bought
there wasn't any.
my 76 hillclimb car didn't have any in it either.......until I mounted the battery in the front and it spewed acid everywhere
Good afternoon gents;
I am after a 76'er but have a question?
Which is the better car a 75L bug or the 76 in terms of overall enjoyability.
I unloaded my 75L to my 17 year old nephew yesterday.(dumb decision in hindsight).
cheers

or a car that rides smooth as
and dont have no rattly springs banging around
The kid wanted the 75L since he was 10, I was given a 59 bug when I was 18 "So what goes around comes around".
Hopefully he will add a few mods before he hands it back. A 76 (Dolphin Blue) has always been on the wish list. Thou I have fond memories of one
orange bug thou.
I'll try and hook up a look at this 76Bug
cheers
Hi
Dave and I often sling of at one another, its a bit like squashing ants, he's a soft target. Dave's bug is a good car with all the hard work done.
Steve
Its a purist thing, '76 was the last evolution of the Type 1 with the original torsion bar front end. You will get good debates from each side of the
fence about which is better. Take it for a drive and see if it drives different, compared with your previous L Bug.
I prefer the '76, I wish I never sold mine !
I have both...............the 76 is better.
i have neither.... go a type 3!!
I have'nt forgot u type 3 (good value) after the 75L sailed pass the blue slip last week.
76 sounds nice just add some nice empi wheels, rear opening windows, stainless exhaust and I'm cruizin in style again.
My 13 yo was really pissed his cousin snaked the 75L (asked for American Muscle car as a replacement?), but was happy again when I showed him the 76
er thou.
Is the bug near St Peters? so it can be viewed.
i can bring it to where u want
just give me notice
I work at Matraville so day time isnt a prob
more pics available if you want them

SOLD today wish i had more space would have kept the 76
OK so now its onto a old / new update project
and my mate is very happy too.
Had a look at it today when he brought it in to work

Guess he will have to buy a kidney belt to drive it
Yeah from the G forces from superb handling.
wish i had another garage F A R K
