I'm finally selling my trusty old Beetle.

It's a 1972 1300 Beetle, pretty much all original and stock. It's all complete - nothing missing.

It's been sitting for over two years and still runs. It was very reliable before that.

It does have rust though, the most notable being a hole in the pan by the accelerator pedal. The other rust is in the usual/expected places. The body is a bit rough with some dents and peeling paint.

The interior is not bad except for the drivers seat which is torn.

The car would be good to restore or for parts. Selling whole only.

I would like the car to go to a good home rather than to a wreckers or for scrap.

Car is unreg but still with plates (UBX 362)

Whats the rust like arround the doors and front fenders? and the nose cone/bonnet?

Sorry for the delayed reply - this escaped my attention somehow.

The doors and guards are pretty good, but some rust developing in the bottom of the drivers door. Nose cone and bonnet are fine, but there's rust on the body where the bonnet seals are.
