yes...another hapless traveller looking for that elusive kombi.....

I don't mind if it needs a bit of work etc, but would prefer NSW rather than inter-state, especially if not running/no reggo etc.

There are a lot of Kombis being recycled by the back packers. Some of them have enough money to buy a Kombi, drive it around Oz and then sell it before they leave.

I've seen a few over the years and most of them a well equipped and mechanically well sorted.

They are constantly being driven around the country by new owners.

I'd suggest making enquiries around the back packers hostels, with a reading of the noticeboards as a first move.
