hi guys, I've done work on Vincent's kombi engine so I can probably help to answer questions.....Vincent's english is not 100% so give him a bit of slack guys......don't mean to offend you Vincent!

The bus resides on the gold coast (Helensvale) - I gave the engine a quick tune up yesterday and it is running perfectly. Damo (66deluxe) on here built a new 1600 engine for it late last year and I fitted it.....it is obviously no quarter mile contender but it is nice and reliable, runs and idles perfectly.

The bus is an ex army bus - the chassis is spot on and floor are all great. The sides are nice and straight - it has had a respray a while back which is still okay but would obviously look much better with a fresh coat. The only problem areas I could see are the windscreen a-pillars (ie. the vertical pillars next to the screen), and under some of the window seals....the engine decklid has a few holes so it would be easier to find a replacement. I would always encourage an inspection though as I didn't go over it with a fine tooth comb, these are only the things I could remember looking at.

That is the bad parts out of the way, but otherwise it is a great solid bus that can be used as is until someone wants to tackle the rusty bits. It is priced according to condition so I think it is pretty fair.

Cheers
Al
