Item - 1975 R & P L Bug.
I have a 1975 L Bug for whom I am looking to find a good home. It is complete apart from a motor and gearbox oh and wiper motor . The body is pretty
straight and rust isn't really an issue.
It is orange in colour.
It had new floors put in it a few years back from memory and they look fine.
It has been sitting for a few years and needs new window rubbers and a master cylinder. Rest seem tights, drivers seat is stuffed.
It's story is simple. It is to good to leave sitting in my yard for years and having bits taken from it. I am quite happy to wreck VW's all day long
but hate doing it to cars which are still capable of getting back on the road without to much effort.
It would make an ideal car for someone with a rusty super bug or L Bug looking for a new body or for a VW person looking for a project.

I will only let this go to someone I feel will put it on the road and will not let it go to anyone I think will try and flip it, wreck it or profit it
from it in anyway. Simple if I know you are a player I will not let you have it. If it stays in my yard for months while I look for the right person
then so be it.
I don't need the money, I don't need the car, I want someone to put it back on the road.

Wow Brad, offered interest in this one months back on phone. I will put her back on the road, but should have taken a number.

i need a daily driver after selling off my oval project to buy a place (we're still looking for the right one - it also means my budget is tight...)
- still have late model g'box and engine from that project but now have no other dubs or projects on the go 
...would be grand!
As I said in the add above I need to be certain that it will get put back on the road and it will not go to a "Player"
Judging by some of the U2U's this seems to have pissed a few "Players" Off ... bad luck I say, it is my car and I can do what I damn well please
with it. I am not an idiot and I have a fair idea who I think would be looking at making a quick $$$$ out of it and there is no way they are getting
their hands on it.
I will contact those people who have posted above and see how we go, this is not a case of someone jumping on here and saying I'll take it. I will
give it to the person who I feel is the most likely to get it back on the road.
As for money I don't want any, if I did then I would be selling it not looking to give it away. I want to move it on as I don't want to turn into on
of those VW people who would rather see it rust away then give it away.
Oh and it will not be availible until mid June as I have a few things to move out of the way before I can get to it.

Hi brad, I'd specifically love one of those Lbugs to build up as a rally car (rallye bug replica) with/for my kids. A long term project. If you say
no, that's cool. You can decide for yourself whether you think I'm a player or not.
