Condition – Bodys in Good some spots of rust but fairly straight. Currently registered but selling unregistered. as is

well i'm selling my aircooled 650cc niki that i have been driving round for the last 12 months. Obviosly it's not a vw but it did turn a few heads :blush:. The niki is a polish car made from fiat running gear from what i have gathered, in england it is known as the fiat 126.

The good:- It has a factory electric sunroof
- 4 new tyres
-kenwood cd player
-is excellent on fuel cost me $18 bucks a week to drive to and from work with todays fuel prices

The not so good-While it does run it needs a bit of work to pass roadworthy.
- there seems to be an oil leek around the clutch which makes the clutch slip.
- first gear is fairly worn as there is no sincro between first and second.
-i think a new set of rings may be needed as there seems to be a bit of blow by.

This is a good little car with a spare car (minus engine and gearbox) just needs a bit of time spent on it. getting rid of them to make room. got a new baby so need more room for his toys.

As far as im aware, the niki engines (or gearbox) run opposite to other engines, so if you put say a rotary, or subi engine behind it, it goes in the opposite direction.

Mate of mine had one and mounted a massive turbo on it then sold it.

Throw a Honda donk innit.There's one up here with a hairdryer on it and it goes VERY well........the ultimate rice sleeper....

i have seen a suzuki gsxr 1100 put into the back of a fiat 500 on utube. I would do something mad like that if i had the spare time money or interest. but i'm working on getting my 76 kombi on the road. It's been 6 months since i"ve driven a kombi and i'm getting serious withdrawals. i 'll probably start developing a rash soon.:starhit::starhit:
