these prices seem a little steep? for $6,500 you could get a well sorted beetle extras and rego. rust free or not your looking at another few thousand to get the thing back on the road?
yeah i know! but thats great to score one at $600 or $3000 but for those that would like a almost perfect specimen $6500
u dont want to spend hour/days/weeks trying to find one this good and your not as savy as little AVD net surfers like u and me
but please remember im putting this price up for a friend"not me" and for those with coin who want one have this one they can buy straight away and
finish it just how they like ,nothing wrong with that ,aye
Brendon you are selling the car like a peice of furniture......
sorry to ask but why hasnt it got headliner around the back window and along the channel to front did they used to make that like that in those
days
?
steff
Yep
That is the "pov" model
No glove box lid either - that must have been added
Also thought they had painted bumpers and no trim
ha ha rob, a very nice piece of furniture , much better in the flesh ..
yeah its the 1967 custom which is the pov model notice the non chrome 1/4 windows and yeah no lining around the roof frame i think they all should
have been like that, wow check out the period tow bar and this weeks special you will recieve a beetles cassette and wait theres more a packet of logo
matchs from the ACT wow not to mention the seat belt holder not many of those babys, hows that rob ?

its a custom not a standard but standards from 66 on had glovebox lids and a few things chromed
i think it had a custom badge on the lid but missing , the owner is back from OS so if anyone wants to take a squiz let me know it wont disapoint ,very possible better price to serious buyer ,i wish i had a better camera and more time.
yep its a 67 standard or custom which ever you want to call it looks pretty good n straight
imagine doing a resto job on a beetle and not having to do any rust work .
