well the time has come that one of the kombis has to go to make room for the near finished resto , and to pay for the resto to be finished .
FOR SALE IS KAISER . she is a 76 camper ,olive green and a great runner .
i brought the camper from wayne penrose in wollongong . he had just reconditioned her 2lt engine and has only really done small around town trips with a few kombi club trips ,furthest was eden and old bar last year .she is my daily drive but pretty much just to and from work .her gear box is tight and no slop and also has a empi quick shift and is a pleasure to drive . i just had the front discs machined and new brakes up front at the same time the rear hubs were taken off and cleaned ,all working great .the interior is all new ,door cards and seats are all a light tan the rear bed is in the same material and is in fantastic condition ,only the sliding door card is missing .the cupboards are all original and in good nick ,there is no fridge or stove the cupboard that was there was trashed when we got her so we got rid of the whole set up . we like cooking out side when we are away .she also has floting timber flooring that looks great . i have also fitted solid windows all round and a new sliding window for the sliding door .
AS FOR CAMPING. the double bed is comfortable and eazy to extend out . with the new coverings its beautiful to sleep on . the pop top canvas is fairly new with only a couple of marks ,no tears and the screens are all good with heavy duty zippers and closers .there is also a kids bed that i made up fits my boy no problems ,i would say would be fine up untill teenage years. sink and bladder work fine,have not filled for a while . all the gas pipes are still there if you wanted to put in fridge and stove again ,.there is also a canvas tarp that extends from under the pop top which is included as with the poles and most ropes and pegs .. she is a great camper for those who are into getting away .
WHAT ELSE . there is a bull bar for the spare wheel included also and has a sony explode cd player the has the plug for an mp3 player . .now she is old and i canot say she is with out fault . there is nothing major from what i know about this van , there are a few bubbles comming from under the paint but ill point all these out .the engine has NO leaks ( come and check the drive way . rare i know but true)
the van is always serviced on time every time by wayne penrose in wollongong he knows alot about this van so if you want to ask the profesional then give him a call .
im looking for $9000 .i think i maybe under quoting myself but i want to get killer(look in resto corner under killer kombi) on the road and looking at what else is around on other sites like carpoint i think its a fair price .she has rego untill january 2009 ...
