Mingo - July 6th, 2008 at 08:55 PM

A smile every mile in this car. Well loved and well maintained example of a 1974 VW Beetle Superbug chop. This uniquely coloured pearlescent blue Superbug is reliable for every day use or as a fun weekend car. You really have to see it in the sun to appreciate the pearl in the paint and the chrome fittings. Full reconditioned engine replacement 4 years ago and diligently serviced every year by Custom Bugs and Buses. Car is used every week but has travelled less than 10,000kms per year since the replacement engine. 6 months rego. Many new parts including a new clutch 6 months ago and 4 new tyres last year - all receipts available. Tight fitting good conditioned roof, black velour interior in good condition (replaced approx 7-8 years ago), steering wheel, gearstick, lights, wipers and pedals! Extras include Kenwood face off CD player, Sony speakers and an astray. More pictures available if requested. Will be very sorry to see this car go and it must go to a good home. Selling due to 1st child on its way. $8,500 price negotiable. Reg XBB 959. Located in Pyrmont, Sydney NSW. Contact Graham 0415 442 178

tidy bug for choptop but its not a superbug, just a 1300 standard model so its got swing axle and 4wheel drums

just to avoid any confusion for the new owner cos superbugs have totally different front and rear suspension to yours

good luck with sale
