Hi all, formally SteveMk2 here but username doesnt seem to work anymore.
My lovely MkII is up for sale due to a lovely change in family status. It is in lovely condition and has won many trophies and appeared in two major
magazine articles including Volkswagen Australia's own publication.
Specs:
1985 8V 3 door in white with factory sunroof.
153,000 miles, with only 23,000 miles on blueprinted engine (work carried out by Peter Shelley at CVWC) Runs a Neuspeed 268deg cam and adjustable cam
gear. $5.5K spent on engine. Dyno'd at 101bhp atw.
Beautiful BBS RS alloys refurbed with new outer rims from Image wheels in England. Size is now 15x6.5 ET 32. These are genuine 4x100. Two do not roll
100% true, however skimming the boss will fix problem.
Sits on H&R springs with Koni Yellow top adjustables.
Car takes pride in its small bumper euro look glory...
The car has a brand new gearbox and clutch (July 08)
This car is pretty damn close to standard with the only mods being able to be reversed back to standard. I have original springs, cam and gear and
refurbed P-Slot alloys ready to go back on. I even sourced some original upholstery from the UK to replace the holy bolstered stuff in the car.
Comes with service history including European receipts from England and Italy. Also thrown in is Haynes service manual and Poor Richards Rabbit book/
manual.
Car was retired from daily duties in March 07 with the MkV arriving. Only current fault is the roof headliner, which has started to collapse.
I am asking $9,800 with the BBS RS alloys, $9000 with the P-Slots. Will include copies of magazines and all trophies in sale.
