For sale is my 1971 Fastback - sale is regretful but necessary, I'm afraid...

My name is Tara and the Fasty is located in Waverton, Sydney 2060 (More or less North Sydney/Wollstonecraft).

Body work is really fantastic, tiny couple of rust spots around rear window but that is it. Some small stone chips and dents on bonnet and body etc as you would expect of this vintage that hasn't been resprayed but really straight overall.

Interior is brilliant, original low back seats in great condition, all door cards etc are near perfect. A very small tear in roof lining and some cracking on the dash are the only minor cosmetic issues on the interior.

Engine is fantastic - was completely rebuilt less than 5,000kms ago and cannot be faulted. The EFI has been replaced by twin carbies and the muffler is brand-new with a great note. Just serviced by Vintage VW in Campsie by Boris.

This car has been my pride and joy for the past 22-months and was bought after a four year search for the ultimate Fastback. I adore it and will miss it very much. The reason for the sale is that I have just moved to Sydney and do not have room for it in my new house on top of a Kombi, a Beetle and my work car...

The front on pic was taken when the front VW badge was missing but this has been replaced.

The photo from the rear shows the small rust spots mentioned above. These are the only spots and are easily fixed.
