1971 Fastback TLE - Auto and Fuel injected

Registered
Mechanically reliable - starts first time every time
Upgraded interior

The Good:
Renewed interior - new door cards, new carpet, front seats recovered
Well maintained by specialist VW mechanic
Structurally rust free - no rust in pan, no visible rust in heater channels or wheel arches
Smooth as to drive - great cruiser
Still fuel injected which I like as it is not something you see these days - most people change over to twin carbs.


The bad:
Panel rust - in almost all panels
Dings and dents in almost all panels
Previous passenger door repair is visible and filler cracking
Surface rust on roof for ratty appearance
'C' pillars have had rust repair by previous owner - unsure of what lengths were taken to halt rust.

Reasons for selling:
Move is iminent and no storage at new place
Too many projects
We are keeping just one VW and pouring all our time and effort into it!
