This Yellow VW Beetle was written off in an accident, suitable for rebuild or for parts.

The beetle was hit head on by a Honda Odyssey going in the opposite direction and hit the front right of my car damaging the bonnet, axle, right fender as well as the right door. Luckily for beetles the engine is in the rear so it is fully in tact and runs brilliantly. I have driven the car for close to 6 years had a bit of work done but the engine was always incredibly reliable. You can come round and turn the ignition on to see for yourself as I have not removed anything from the car. Rear panels and left hand side of the body can be salvaged for parts, as well as entire engine.

I have attached a photo of the Beetle before the accident. I will soon add photos of the car post accident as well.

The car is being stored inside my fathers factory at the moment, so can be viewed most days as he owns the factory and can open it up at any time, Must call to organise an inspection.

-1600 Superbug engine

-Was reconditioned around 5 years ago by my mechanic

-Has been an incredibly reliable engine, successfully got me to Wollongong university form the Sutherland Shire and back 4 days a week (it could handle those hills brilliantly) This was an engine with guts, it ran amazingly and I have not had troubles with it.

-Entire engine no missing parts.

-Vinyl roof is great condition, absolutely no leaks, rear plastic window in fine condition, the two side plastic windows are misty and have a bit of mould on them, probably should be replaced but wouldn't cost much. This roof is incredibly durable, and sturdy, we had it repaired and extended flaps above the window to stop any water getting inside the vehicle.

-Windscreen untouched (did not smash)

-left passenger side window is not damaged

-Left hand side door is fine.

-Seats inside are upholstered all black with a yellow stripe down the middle of them, matched the car great.

- Kombi mirrors replaced the original side view mirrors for better vision

- Mag Wheels Gold and Silver (look great when are cleaned and polished

So sad to have seen this car go this way, it was my baby, my first car and I have loved and looked after it for 6 years. I just wish the other driver wasn't speeding in wet weather, I'd still be driving my little 'Bumble Bug' now if the other driver didn't hit me. I wanted to purchase a new Beetle, but couldn't find the right one on the market and needed some wheels, so I now drive a Fiat 128 Coupe, which is beautiful and I'm falling in love with (will probably in the future look to purchase a Karman Cabriolet Beetle.
