hey all.
it is with regret i am selling the last of my type 3's. it's my pride and joy 66 fasty.
i have had the car for a number of years now, and it has lived in my shed and was planned for a resto project but never got that far.
the car is in great condition. there are a few rust spots starting to show on the rear gaurds and a small patch i think on the left side sil.
it is black with an almost original interior in good condition.
motor hasn't run in a few years so would need some love and attaention.
with the motor running the car would be ready for rego. last time it had a battery all the lights were working.
so now for the complsory bits:

factory black car?
Hi Aaron.
My Mum and Dad got a black/red int 66 fastback in 1972 in Sydney, We had it till about 1980 in Brisbane. There body number was 316151435. I have never
seen another one, If your car is a OG black car it probably has a body number close because they were made in batches. If it has the same number (a
dream) I would be very interested in buying it if it isn't already sold.
Hey Burrelli, sounds like your addiction is alive and well.
hey guys.
i'm not sure if it is OG black. the previous owner told me that the guy she bought it from had done a fair bit of resto work so not sure if he
painted it or not.
i'll go get the numbers and let you know.
i've always been meaning to check if it was factory black just always seem to forget.
still here. will chase up the facotry colour
bumpity bump
hey Burelli
had a look at the rego papers from last time it was on the road.
chasis number: 316151201
on the plate it dioesn't say OG colour, but going by the chasis number i'd strongly say it weas the same batch as your parents.
i can tell you it was made in germany though.
Hey Aaron
Only 230 or so cars off my parents. The photos are not coming up
on this computer, but from memory its a TS and has drum brakes thats an Aussie car. German ones had discs and were TL.
good memory man you are 100 % right. it is a TS on drums.
learn something new every day!!

Hey matey, the Fastback still for sale?
Did you know anything in particular that was wrong with the engine, or is just tired?
Just curious, as I'd need to get it on a trailer/truck if I where to buy it.
Beut Fasty though.
Regards,
-Mitch.
Also could you email me a few pic's of the rear end/engine bay/engine at all?
