URGENT SALE - I"m going in a week.

The van is a 1990 white VW Caravelle 7 seater with factory (rare) air-con, power steering, top of the range interior with captains chairs, tinted windows, towbar and best of all no rust anywhere on it! It's registered until 29-Jan-2009 and it's an auto, 2.1 efi.

The bad points, after fixing the blown hose ( another one ), I started the engine and heard the 'death rattle' and drops of oil comes from the exhaust. So the motor needs looking at....

I paid $5,200 for it and then spent another $1500 on the cooling issue it had.

Anyhow, best offers for the beast as I go over to the UK next week!

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but the A/C is not a factory unit - its the same as my o/head A/C system which is an aftermarket version. Works well though.

The factory unit was normally cream in colour and has a T-piece at the front of the car above the sun visors. I agree they are rare - have only seen a handfull in my last 12 years of T3 kombi caravelle ownership.

Good luck with the sale though.
