Sounds like a good cheap way to get a good motor with all the bells and whistles for a conversion. Or keep it in the Caravelle if you're into such
things (no value judgements intended). If it were closer and less of a hassle. I'd jump at it!

... funny lookin' turbo
Turbo, where??? is it the thing left of engine photo??
Is the motor in backwards?
Isn't the throttle intake supposed to face the other way?
Oops sorry my bad, i am looking at the turbo
But that still makes the pod filter assembly look strange.
Sorry - didn't look too closely at the pics. Might be worth the drive over for a look though!

He's had this up on ebay on and off for about 4 months I think. Price has come down a bit but.... had a buy it now price of about $1500 last time it
was listed
From what I've read about LPG and subaru engines there is no way I'd leave it running with that set up and my God is that one messy install. If mine
ends up looking like that, please remind me!!!
But.... def worth it just for the parts!
So what is it you've heard about LPG and Subaru engines???
Still an EJ20 in running condition for $500 - plus a caravelle?
Not LPG, just the way that the system needs to be set up. The old style carb set ups are meant to kill subaru engines quite quickly.
Multi-point, or direct injection are meant to be the way to go, plus much better economy I believe.
Not from first hand experience, just researched on the subaru forums for ages to see if dedicated LPG was an option for my EJ20 install.
