Hi all,

Im selling my '68 beetle - I was planning a resto for it but im going back to uni and just wont have the time!
I would like to sell it as a whole car, but am willing to part it out.

I'll do my best to describe it below - I'll try get pics soon (dont have a digi!!)

Its monza red, its got carerra side skirts and flared wheel guards (rear guards take the elephant foot lights, not those ugly torana things!!) Guard on right is badly cracked but fixable. comes with a whale tail. Currently has original decklid on it with lid standoffs.
I also have 4 original wheel guards, 2 front lights and a few sets of bumpers (one is a front bumper with overriders)
Has 4-tip monza exhaust.

Body has a few spots of rust in the usual areas, and a small dent in the boot decklid. inside is clean and waterproof, the roof lining was new when i bought the car and is in immaculate condition. Bucket seats up the front. Speaker box at the back where the luggage compartment is - basically just a carpeted box that is easily removed. Front windows are one piece.
A rectangle had been cut out of the *dash* for a stereo when i had bought it.
Has a short red sports shifter.

Ok... now the good bits. 1600 engine. 40dcn webber, alternator (was about 6 months old when i stopped driving it), 009 distributor, lowered red koni specials (less than 3 months old when i stopped driving it), wide classic wheels with vw hubcaps, boss sports steering wheel with vw logo.

Also has a spare engine (i believe its a 1300) but i have no idea if its working or not. may be good for parts.

It is absolutely breaking my heart to have to sell my cherry bug but letting her sit for 2 more years while im at uni just isnt good for anyone.
Cherry was an absolute blast to drive, lowered suspension and big fat wheels made for a ground hugging experience... the weber made cherry nice and fast too!
