Oval window beetle - wanted

Hi all,

I posted a little while ago about looking for an oval window to buy. Well I am still looking for a more or less rust free one for sale, preferably one that still runs.

any advice or hints?

Not really 100% sure, that would depend on the quality of the car and what would need to be done to it.

Any info on the 2 you know of?

Ovals come up from time to time in NZ.

there are a few on at the moment - range from 7.5k through to 15k NZD

This is a nice one that has been owned by a VW fanatic here in NZ

Whats the story with bringing them across the ditch? I imagine the RTA will give me a very hard time trying to get it registered here.
