very neat origional 1975 L Bug for sale.
Located in buderim/Sippy Downs QLD
This bug is very origional and looks quite nice, the outside was resprayed in the origional blue some years ago, the inside has the origional paint.
light brown interior is in quite good condition as you can see in the photos below. Headliner is intact apart from two rips towards the rear, there is
also a brown discolouration in some places on the headliner, im not sure if this will come off with a scrub. has a chrome grill on the deck lid.
the origional radio works but is currently not wired up, there are two pioneer speakers in the parcel tray and one speaker in the drivers door, the
speaker from the passenger door has been removed for some reason. there is also a small two channel amp.
The beetle drives and stops great, quite quick. keeps up with traffic no problems what so ever. The engine makes good power however idles a little
rough sometimes, im putting this down to a partial blockage of the idle jet.
the engine tends to get a little hot after long trips which i beleive is mostly to do with the fact that the engine bay seal is torn and useless and
would need replacing.
the drivers side A pillar appears to have been welded at some point, the passenger side has not, both have no rust and have small square holes
allowing access to the inside of the pillar? i dont know what this is for. to the left of the drivers side a pillar there is some rust in the floor,
you can see the details in the picture, i wouldnt call it a big problem, there are some other small sections which i have covered in the photographs,
There is also a small scratch on the drivers side front fender.
the car has 6 months rego on it, perhaps negotiations could be made with the owner for a rwc? you would need to talk to him.
this car isnt mine but i am driving it at the moment while my baja gets a new gearbox. it belongs to a freind however you can direct questions to me
via this forum or daniel via the phone number. i might get him to sign up here so he can post on this thread.
this is a regretful sale, the car has been in the family for some years and unfortunatly a less than desirable turn of events is forcing its sale.

its sad seeing it like that
Pat that originally owned that bug used to keep it immaculate
hope it goes to a good home, that bug was his baby
PS Nick the square holes in the pillars are for access to the defroster hoses
Anthiron, is this bug still for sale ?
Glad to say that our family is now the proud owner of this bug - and its a nice little unit !

You said you wanted one, so i guess you were serious. This number 5 now?
Didn't expect one so soon, but the old fella wanted a car to run around in, so i guessed another beetle wouldn't hurt.
