Plates - TYP 111
0419 253 871
$5,000
Yeah, I guess most of that is for the plates eh? Out of rego now, but an easy re-reg with a little bit of work
Its one of the last of the Type 3's - IIRC its a 73 although it may be a '72 - I'll dig out the papers and check. It runs great - I put a fully
reconditioned engine in it about 4 or 5 years back, but my daughter decided she preferred a Mazda 6 (silly eh?) - so its only got about 3 or 4,000k on
the reco engine.
The paint job is crappy (done by my ex-brother in law) and its got the usual bit of rust on the roof at the rear. Needs a battery and some carpet.
Its got hotwire mags.
Lotsa lookers.... no comments.
Cat got your tongues?
No still trying to pick myself up from the floor after reading the price???
Too cheap? How do I put it up?
Don't tell me.....your just about to post up the photo's right....
So your selling a number plate... shouldn't this be in the parts for sale section
Yeah, I must get some photos up
Sounds like Marty Brown's old Type 3 from the 80's - I think he had those plates. It's not maroon in colour is it??
Yep - Maroon it is. I bought it up on the Central Coast years back
Yep that's the one - it was a Central Coast car. That car you have there is an ex-Valla winner and Nats 2nd placer. If you're game to look under some of the coats of paint on that, you'll find some aqua as well.
Yep. Found that when I was doing the rust repairs. All cut out and replaced with metal.
So what price without the flashy number plates?
any pics ??
I was serious,I really don't need an expensive set of plates!
Sorry guys, got caught up with some boat building...
Here's some photos.
As you can see, my ex brother in law thought he was a better painter than he is. As a painter, he makes a great shearer.
I've got a fresh litre of paint to do the needed repairs
to the roof at the back, two windows and a door - nothing too bad.
OK - $2k without plates, fabulous reliable car - no plates. Needs some minor cosmetics. IRS pan, Disk front end. Good speakers in it.
I think that car was in Fast Fours and Rotaries in the late 80's or early 90's.
Make me an offer someone.
I just signed up for a big shed today, and this one is going to get locked up away from the daylight unless someone convinces me that they want to see
this one on the road again.
