Hey everyone,
I'm looking at moving my Karmann Ghia on to a new home.
I purchased this as an unfinished project from a guy who restored Austin Healeys and it has sat more or less untouched since I bought it, waiting for
a rainy day that doesn't seem to be coming any time soon.
The previous owner did extensive body repairs and collected tonnes of parts for the project - see pics:

The car is about a '64 but was converted to 4 stud at some stage (and the beam looks a bit narrowed to me, can't be sure) but the chassis is the
original one, with a bulkhead (and IRS) swap, so the numbers still match and can be swapped back to K&L with some welding.
Also has a s/bug 'bog fitted, and a 1600 dp (not fitted)
It has all (rust free) panels and the body is good & solid too.
It's got some sealed beams on it at the moment, but I've got the original KG headlights too.
All the parts appear to be there, I have not gone through them since buying the car, but a quick rummage seems to show that all the hard to get KG
stuff is present.
The previous owner also bought what appears to be the full WCM K.G catalogue of bits. So there is everything there from Window seals, to door handle
seals, to glass guides and so on... I've taken photos of the receipts.
The car definitely a resto project, but I feel it's a much better starting point than most lipstick red, 20K KG's out there with newspaper for
sills.
And I think the asking price is more than fair, as anyone who has researched K.G parts & panels will attest.
Asking $7,000 ono
If you have any questions feel free to ask.
Cheers,
Cam
