Item Description – 1969 VW 1500 Beetle, extremely reliable, always garaged, runs and drives excellently. Fantastic looking vehicle and always attracts positive comments. Well maintained and regularly serviced, previously by Mick Motors and more recently by Custom Vee Dub. I am the 4th owner and have owned the car since 2005. Original mileage is 128,000 miles since new, 12,000 miles of which I have added since purchasing the car. The car was restored (body on) by the second owner (Brian Colwill) around 1998 which included internal and external paintwork, a reconditioned transmission, top end engine rebuild, new headliner and carpets, new window rubbers and body seals, new rear indicator lenses, new aftermarket front seats and retractable seatbelts (blue plated mod.) and various other parts and mechanical work. The sale of the car comes with a set of 4 polished and unmarked “Empi 8” replica wheels by American Eagle and also a full set of original wheels and chrome hubcaps. I am selling this car very reluctantly to help finance my buggy project.
