About my bug Betsy....this is a reluctant sale as i am moving to QLD soon for work....

I have had Betsy since 2000.

She has been really well looked after, there is a little bit of rust but nothing too major. Her engine was rebuilt in 2006 and i spent $4000 on it to be done. Since then she has only done 8000 miles.

The interior seats are still original red, the back seats still in amazing condition and the front drivers side has seen better days with a few rips on the base but still has plenty of structure to it. I have seat covers over the front seats and you wouldnt know that they are ripped.

I've never had an accident with her.
My dear old dadad sanded her back before re-painting, and the bonnet looked like it had been re-placed. I have photos if you want to see it all!

Betsy has travelled to Ballarat a couple of times this year and usually makes the journey 3 times every other year and she just loves it!

She is not registered at the moment, but I will be selling it with 3months rego.

Betsy's a little beast and very reliable. She packs quite a bit of punch for a 1600cc engine. And so much fun to drive! Oh and i forgot to mention she is fairy floss pink!:kiss:

Take her to Queensland she will love it and the people up there will also love her,I mean to say how many pink superbugs have you ever seen and she is pretty schmick.

Ironically though - it shares the same name! Good luck with the sale. And good luck with the move to brisbane, its a good place :)

Ha! As if im a dude with a pink beetle. Im a chick! And believe me it does get plenty of looks! Or maybe its me?...Nah, its the bug!!!:crazy:
