[FS - NSW] '66 Westfalia Splitscreen camper

1966 LHD genuine 11 window splitscreen wolfsburg camper.
The fitout is in excellent condition. Some damage to the plywood door trims. Easily re manufactured/repaired/refitted.
Pop-top cloth is in very good condition and serviceable, pull-downs etc on poptop are also in excellent condition as per photos. No leaks.
Cupboards in excellent order.
Accesories:
original push-button AM/FM radio
Washer bottle, German
Emergency lights, Factory
Original VW Engine bay heater system as per photos. Very rare
Original toolkit
Wind-out louvered glass is all original and intact. Working.
Paintwork is original. Very straight. rust is present at the lower half of the car as per photos.
Checkerplate floor has been fitted by inmates of the correctional service dept NewYork
One of the jacking points corroded. Rust spots at points of luggage rack, heavy surface.
Car is EX NewYork state. Last owner 20 years. In Australia for 5 years. All importation documentation available.
1500 engine in good condition. 12v system. Good steering box and steering gear. Driveable.
One reduction box seal is leaking. Good gearbox. Doesn't jump out of gear and no noises.
This is a most restorable car and exceptionally rare. Very complete in all aspects.
Viewable in eastern suburbs, Near Sydney Aiport, Botany.

What a lovely example of a very rare (in Aus) Westfalia SO42 camper in complete and original condition.

For anyone wondering the M-code plate tells us this bus is:-

there use to be one just like it in campbelltown same colour and all but it was converted to right hand drive and still had its speedo on the left

yeah, i had offers for $15k but nothing finalised before auction ending!
the camper is VERY complete. in reality buyer got a bargain!
