up for sale is my 72 type 3 wagon.unfortunately i had to steal tho motor out of it, but will supply a 1600 twinport which needs a rebuild and a few
things to complete. it is rego'd till feb 2010. has no rust and has an 1800 single sideplate gearbox. have the original dash pad which is cracked,
and the original rear p/s quarter. drive around as a rat as i have or would be an easy tidy up. $1800 or make an offer.

thanks pod. yeah its a beaut ute, it likes eating motors tho. lol. yea was at borris's, it was a type3 box, the one that was in this car.

price drop for xmass, $1500. car now has complete motor installed, but it seized after running for a short time. i will also include in the sale all the spare parts i have for this car: 2 front p/s quarter panels, 2 p/s doors, 2 p/s rear quarters and a tailgate. front and back seats in great cond, full set of spare wheels and a few other odds and ends.
How does the 1800 gearbox perform in the squareback? Does it have a better highway ratio or lower first gear? what is the condition of the brakes
and steering?

hey tom, i was running an 1835 motor with the g/box and that combo was great. top gear is taller so freeway driving was a breeze. havent driven it with the 1600 motor so not sure what that will b like. the steering and brakes are good and the front pads were changed recently, i have noticed that one of the breaklight switches is leaking slightly so would need to change that. the seats are brown in colour and are in good nic, just a little bit dusty and have a few paint splatters on them should clean up alright tho. heres a link to some photos of them, also included a photo of the spare guards i have.
