Assume your rolling your eyes Phil?
BARLS the forum police
Manx has drawn quite a bit of interest and obviously some comments regarding price on and off various forums.I would like to sell thus I am happy to talk to genuine parties around reasonable money.Thanks.
nice buggy - I like how we've offset the intake instead of cutting the body.
Thanks Cram - the gel coat is sacred!

25K as Michael Keating says, Your DREAMIN.
Thoughtful comment Lardo...as an earlier post suggests the price is negotiable to those who appreciate the car.
this comes up every now and then whos to say its not worth it what to says that a 62 splitty van is worth more than $5000 tops it just a work van
people mover....... whats to say a xy pharse 3 is worth $1,000,000 one person then woops up goes the price from $10,000 one day $1,000,000 the next,
its only what a person is willing to pay for any thing.
steve
far out i wouldnt pay $15,000 - $60,000 for a kombi nor would i buy a rusted oval bug for $5,000 just because some else thinks its worth more
I know what they are worth, mine sold for 18K
Absolutely right Bugzla...a price is nothing more than a starting point and those who have genuine interest offer accordingly. If everyone used their personal sale of a car-boat-house as a definitive guide then all 3 bedroom homes would be worth X and all Meyers Manx buggys would be worth 18K. The truth is that most 3 bedroom homes have differences as do most Manx buggys and can be priced accordingly.
good luck with the sale my friend
Seems most interest behind the scenes at this time is just talk.As previously stated I am happy to discuss all genuine offers.Thanks.
In response to those who asked for interior shots-I hope these photos are useful.
is the car rego'd in vic?
any more pics?

oops
Just to clarify...this Manx is fully engineered and registered in Victoria-Rego expires in May 2010
A verbal offer has been accepted-will await conformation in writing before removing from forum.I hope all had a Merry Christmas.
In the classic spirit of car sales the buyer has decided that he may not be able meet the purchase price after all-for a number of different reasons that weren't thought of only days ago!And so the car is back on the open market...
Hi
I have a Manx Buggy, I am interested in details about the Supercharger setup on your buggy, do you have any more pictures, what size engine, what did
the supercharger come off, how did you make the intake, how is the supercharger supported.
any infomation greatly appriciated, or if anyone else has any information about supercharging a VW engine
thanks
Bill
Sorry to get off topic here guys.
Bill (streeter) My old buggy is looking good in your Avatar.
Any chance of sending us some updated pics to look at for memory lane
cheers
Jace
Sorry about the tardy reply Bill - kids and holidays! - your best source of information re supercharging and the engine in my Manx would be Stan Pobjoy-his website is easily Googled.Good luck with your Manx developments.
Some further photos for those who may be interested.
...another.
