[WTB - SA] Squareback wanted in SA!!
bneild - December 21st, 2009 at 03:17 PM

Hi All,

My name is Bryce
Maslin Beach SA 5170
Best contact email: bneild@hotmail.com

I have decided I need another type 3 wagon in my life after selling mine a few years ago. Since then I've had a '74 kombi and '70 notchback (The notchback was in the SA Advertiser for being ungulfed in flames after the engine caught fire) I currently drive a '99 Passat Turbo that just aint giving me the same pleasure as driving the old girls.

I am looking for an earlier 1600 wagon with early steering wheel and MPH gagues. Looking for one from good to recently restored condition and anything in between. Running and driving. Manual is a must. Prefer white with red interior low back seats if I get real picky but dont mind others. Not brown or orange though.

In SA is preferable but don't mind transporting for the right car.

Any info you guys can provide would be great.

Cheers in advance

Bryce

if pic loads properly its of my old one wish this next one could be in such good condition.

Hi Bryce!

I've stayed out of this thread so far because I know you want an early car, but just in case you change your mind, I've got a nice 1973 Type 3 wagon which I could be talked into selling. It's not really in the condition you're after either, I would describe it as fair to good. It's a solid original car, mechanicals and body are both very good, but it could do with new paint and carpets. Let me know if you're interested, but otherwise, good luck with the search!
