Here is my 1960 built Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Coupe. have a vw factory birth certificate!!
& progress pics through the restoration 7 yrs ago.

Australian delivered orig factory RHD with a few updates such as irs, sports steering wheel
12 volt system. has heater boxes and connections.
strong 1600tp kombi doghouse air-cooled engine
l-bug s.s.p.4sp manual gear box
disc brake l/p front end with dual master cyl.

14"cheviot mags, brand new dunlop turanza wide tyres
part hazet tool kit, jack
extra guages, (temp vacuum, tacho & clock also battery charging guage and oil pressure)! good battery.

genuine vw silencer only 2 years old
coil over rear shocks
front sheepskins and new door cards
new paint ...car has been constantly garaged the 20 yrs it has been off the road. only 5 days or so out in the open since i owned it.
2 pack paint undercoat on body, floor & chassis
absolutely No rust.
carpets and soundproofing.

The black "Cal look" areas have very good chrome under them and these can be restored with little effort to the classic original look! absolutely ready for rwc

FYI :you need to relocate the fuel pump ! That particular pump is a "push" type and should be mounted under the tank.

is now single carb and pod filter and no fuel filter as these little pics are a bit older

no fuel filter in eng bay
i DO NEED THE TWO LITTLE COVER PLATES where the carbie preheater tube comes up from the muffler each side... misplaced mine IF SOMEONE CAN HELP
