Hello All,

I have reached a point where I want a 'fun' project car (The modern golf is just too detched). The plan is to build up a fast road car/light motorsports car.

What I would like is a beetle thats fairly sound (but I am not afraid to do a bit of welding) Prefer a 60's model but am opent to most things.

Basically after a project car, but it you have something part the way to what want would also be interested in this.

I am in Mount Barker, but willing to travel with trailer within reason.

Depending on how much of a project you want I have a 59 beetle that has been fully stripped down and part paint stripped / primed by hand.
The car was 95% complete when I got it, all the bits I took off it I still have but it will be a full project if that is what you were after. It was going to be built up for my wife but have decided to go a different way.

If interested in late models I'm about to sell my 73 L-Bug . It is totally rust free but has had most of the work done to make it a screamer. Recaro interior , full instruments , fully worked suspension, Porsche Boxster wheels, Engine 2276 cc with twin 44's, just serviced 6 months rego This is a daily driver. I will be posting pics in next few days then advertising. come for a drive and bring some spare undies.
