RIP - Stefan (Whiz Bang VW)

im unsure if this has been posted as well as some of you may already know? ... But Stefan (Whiz Bang VW) passed away very suddenly in Nov 09 .

i have had the pleasure to chat with his wife (Michelle) about a few things & i have offered some help as she needs to move some of the VW items they both shared.

items are:
67 Dual Cab (dions old one)
91 or 93 T3 Dual Cab (purchased from a fellow dsker)
plus i believe there are other VW items floating around.

please be patient as photos will follow. i know there are pics of dion's old DC on here + im sure the old owner of the T3 (whoever that is) maybe able to provide some imput.

please feel free to call Michelle on 0409 288 279 as she does have prices in mind & a good idea what they are worth. mention to her that your from DSK/Luft & saw the items on here. if you are just shopping for prices/info, please dont bother her. they are from Tassie & she is a lovely person to talk too.

i have mentioned to her that from DSK, Luft & AVD etc view that we will try to help out in any way. please pass the word around

hey lads...
i have been in contact with Michelle some more. she has sent me pics of the T3... very tidy.

it was brought from a fello DSKer from SA i am sure that when he sees this he can give some imput into the T3

Nice looking T3 DC

guys sorry about the lack of some info.
the cars are in tassie. ill find out where exactly.
as for the prices i will be in contact over the next few days then i will post them up... if you are really interested you can then contact Michelle.
she does want to sell them.

If you can get more info on the T3 DC that'd be good seeing you say don't contact her for info but anyone interested would have to bug her for this - the more info posted will only help with a sale.

T3 - Registration ends 25/6/2010, but of course if it hadnt sold by then i would re-register it (depending on sale price). I have looked up the paper work of when we brought it. It was purchased from a DSKer (name removed). I am looking for around what we paid $15 000.00 so i guess somewhere round that figure given that it has been gargaged since we had have it and only taken out on sunday drives as it was Stefs pride and joy. (I have to admit i did seriously consider keeping it as i love driving it, however i just cant afford all the regos).

67 Split Dual Cab - gosh this is a hard one to put a price on .... as above I am looking for what we paid for it $7 000.00 from memory, so i guess again somewhere near that price. It does come with lots of extras... including doors, nose cone or front panel think thats what you call it. The box seat thingy in the back .... box thingy that the seat sits on... sorry my discriptions arent good..lol.. and i think there is a front floor panel ...thats brand new... but will need to check that one for ya. Its been under a carpot ... looked after ... nothing too major thou but i would reccomend people have alook for themselves.

I live in Ulverstone (North West Coast of Tasmania) ... in relation to the spirit of Tasmania ... Ulverstone is about 15kms away, or approx 30 min drive from Devonport or Wynyard Airports.

mate what i meant was because of circumstances i/we didnt want all the hunters/info people calling etc etc

Cheers Matty and understand the circumstances and tyre kickers and time wasters and don't want to be one but am interested in the T3 thus my comment re more info as living in Qld and it being at the other end of the country doesn't make checking it out easy.
