Since I've got no time to restore this one myself, due to too many projects on my plate, it's time to let it go to someone that can put in the time
to return this car to it's former glory. Being the earliest of these models made, it has the impressive push button controls that were replaced by
knobs in later ones, and the controls are complete.
Basically, the only things that are actually missing are the rear bumper, front and rear windscreens and dash pad. The motor is in need of replacing
or complete strip down, gearbox should be ok, suspension and all wheels are there, as are the seats.
As far as rust goes, it's not too bad. The pan halves need replacing, there's a bit of a crust on the rear boot lid bottom edge, minor spots
elsewhere, but nothing really bad. All panelwork is original, with no previous accident damage and the paint (what's left of it) is mostly the
original.
If you believe you can do the decent thing and make this old beauty shine again, PM me with a serious offer.
By the way, my name is Steve Barnes and the car is located just south of Maryborough (in Qld).
got enough on my plate.
but then again...........i do need one....
NO I CANT!!!!
oooooh I love that
dang ....!

The chassis number on the body plate is 0155836, while the actual number on the chassis is 0471537. Somewhere along the line the body has been mated with a new chassis.
That body/chassis number would have been produced around January to February 1963 whilst the actual chassis would be around June 1964 if I have it
right Adam. Your thoughts??
