Hi ppl. well I,m selling a 71 1300 beetle.(standard)
Now,this is not a show car by any means,I have been driving it to work and back for the last 12 months and been super reliable(as beetles are...)
Honey brown in colour,interior isn't flash, rust in usual places but not serious.
Had 200mm clutch and brakes done buy Bill at Volkswest just over 6 months ago and have reciepts from work done on motor by previeous owner,new plugs leads and coil installed,tyres are good,regd till oct 2010,and drives well.
I did a backyard spray job on it recently to keep it tidy looking.Has old style saas steering wheel.Will post pics tomorrow.Selling due to $6000 repair bill on 4wd,

I'd sell the 4wd if I were you mate! The Beetle is guaranteed to never surprise you with $6000 repair bills!

Where is the rust & how bad is it?

Some rust is surface around the rear rhs mudguard rubber strip in spots,
blisterd around area in front of rear lhs wheel,
has been repaired (roughly)around both moon shaped air vents ,
needs repair under front boot and rear engine cover seals,
Battery box has had repair by previous owner,but otherwise floor pan looks good.
Like I said not a show car but looks tidy atm,
