[FS - SA] Not VW 1977 Chrysler Centura GLX 89,000kms
Turbo54 - September 1st, 2010 at 03:04 PM

Hi all,
Due to my new house running over budget I sadly have to sell some cars.

Up for sale is a 1977 Centura GLX that I bought from a deceased estate just over a year ago. The lady (Violet Wong) bought it new and did very little kms in it. She passed and it sat in a shed and under a carport for 8 years until I found it. It is completely untouched and complete.

245 auto
The car hadn't been started for 8 years and we started it the day I picked it up and drove home from Melbourne the next day. Never missed a beat. I have used it as a daily driver and only maintained it.
I did paint the roof in 2pak as the vinyl roof was peeling and cracking, I also painted some stripes on the bonnet as I liked the look of it.

Did front brakes and wheel bearings no long after I got it.
Also went over pits to get registered, went through without a hitch.
The guy actually commented on how clean it was underneath.

The car features:
Factory A/C
Still have plastic stitched into passenger and back seat from factory.
Brand new carpets (originals deteriorated when I vac'd them)
Brand new Alpine cd player
Dash has been redone as it had a slight crack
Seats are perfect as is all door trims and headlining.
Still has all chrome, hubcaps etc.
Body is is great condition with a few signs of a 30 years old car.
Still has QC paint marks on tailshaft from factory
Still has original Sparkplugs leads.

If you want any more information please call.
Thanks

I can see mini-muscle car potential in that baby.
also looks in great condition for the age of it.

Cam,
thats what I always intended but I have got a new house and something has to budge.
Also got a 265 for it for some extra $$$.

I was going to drop a turbo on my 265 and go crazy. I converted my beetle to ford / chrysler stud pattern so I could interchange wheels with this baby.
