I'm selling my 1975 Kombi. I've had this car for over 6 years, it has been my pride and joy. I've spent years restoring it, doing the job properly.
It has had rust cut out and repaired, it has been resprayed in a custom blue and white 2pac paintjob, it has had the seats re-upholstered.
It has brand new seatbelts, new fuel pump, completely rebuilt alternator, new window seals, new door seals, the rear seat is complianced for 2
passengers and also folds to a bed. The bed has been completely re-upholstered. It has a tow bar, a separate middle seat which is not currently fitted
but it is original and would bolt in perfectly. The drivers and passenger doors have had new locks and handles fitted. The clutch and clutch cable
have both been replaced. The fuel line has been replaced. The VW script is on the tailgate, find and the front indicators have been replaced by clear
covers with orange bulbs.
Where possible I have replaced with the highest german quality parts. If German parts are not available no expense has been spared. I had a new master
cylinder fitted last year. All the electrics have been checked over. The car is serviced every 5000K's and the engine was completely rebuilt in may
(rebuilt worth over $5000) with a new engine casing. I have only ever used 98 ron fuel in this kombi. It also has a Pioneer headdeck CD/MP3 player
with 2x6" speakers in the front and two 6x9 speakers in the back. The speakers are wired under the floor so you don't see any cables.
This car is amazing to drive. It's a 2L manual and has no issues keeping up to speed on the motorway. There is not a day that goes by that I don't
love getting in this car and driving it.
Why am I selling it? Simply because I no longer have the time to show this car the love it deserves.
$15,000 or reasonable offers considered
