REDUCED PRICE......please read on.
71 panel van
Indian Automotive adjustable front beam (including torsion bar stiffeners) and rear adjustable spring plates.
Everything is adjustable so you can have it stock height or a little bit lower than it is now.
2165cc motor, with external oil cooler. Strong motor.
Standard heads, 110 cam, twin 40 Delloto carbs, running through an 1800 Kombi gearbox.
Plenty enough torques to get it from Melb to Valla and back and go up all the hills in between at 110 in fourth, where it was legal of course.
Metric trip meter speedo, matching clock (that works but loses 5 minutes per day)
VDO Tacho, oil pressure guage, oil temp, and volts.
Genuine period Pioneer stereo (worth at least $19)
16 inch alloy wheels, Michelin Tyres (near new)
Empi shifter.
Later soft touch steering wheel.
Side step (essential for a lowered bus)
Fog lights on the front, single foggy on the back, safety star stop light, overiders (front ones not fitted but included)
Jail bars on the rear window.
Roof rack.
The only body mod is the hole in the driver's pillar for the spot light.
More accessories than I can name, but I'll post pics a soon as I clean the car up.
No rust in the nose or chassis.
Needs the battery tray replaced, and the tailgate is getting a bit crusty around the rubber.
I've got a spare tailgate and left front door to supply.
Probably needs a new windscreen for RWC
The headlights have gone MIA, I think it might just be the relay.
Windscreen washers are the air powered type, but only work for a day or so after putting the air in.
Needs a few more items for a roadworthy, but I'm selling it without one.
It's not a show stopper, but it's a shed load of fun to own.
If you are a Victorian you can have the rego plates as well.
Gimme a ring on 0408 535 919 and I'll be happy to answer any queries.
I'm looking for as is with all the spares from the shed included
It's located in Frankston Vic, (3199)and I'll do whatever I can to help anyone get it to them via car freighters
Phone David 0408 535 919

'Nobus' formally known as Lobus
Don't T5s count?
only if you dump it on it's guts
it will count then n it's the wifes car at that
remember your one of those tredly riders now
you should make a coffee table book with all those photos
Well it seems its for sale again.
Here's some trivia
Its not an ex PMG van
its an ex NSW Prisons supply bus, but it had the same fitout and shelves as a PMG as well as paint colour.
Its been repainted and the colour is a GMH mix that was used on Commodores in about 2002 when it was repainted.
The extra vents in the qtr panels are for the cargo area not the engine bay, they were fitted into ALL the panel vans with the 70/30 front seat.
Also the cab divider was standard with the 70/30 front seat
Some of these facts are in a bit of dispute in other places but as usual they never checked.
yep never let the facts get in the way of a good story
the bus is an Aussie icon
get the love back David
It's a sign David.... Get LOBUS back!!!
